Privacy Policy
MoonWise ("we", "us") is made by Maks Raynor (Maksim Ponomarev). This policy explains what the MoonWise apps for iPhone/iPad and Android collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Contact: moonwise.ai.astrology@gmail.com.
1. What we collect
You enter it
- Name, date, time and place of birth, for natal and Pro charts, and for personal horoscopes, mantras and affirmations. You can also save the same details for other people, such as a partner for a compatibility chart. Only add other people's details if they agree.
- Questions and messages you send to the AI astrologer, tarot questions and dream descriptions.
- An optional profile photo. It stays on your device.
Created automatically
- A random install ID and a server account generated for your device, used to sign in to our server. It does not contain your name, email or phone number.
- A push-notification token (iPhone), used to send Daily News notifications if you allow them.
- Usage counters for AI requests (number of requests and tokens), used to apply daily limits and control costs.
- iPhone only: app analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase), and ads (Google Mobile Ads). If you allow tracking in the iOS prompt, Google may use the advertising identifier to show personalised ads; if not, ads are not personalised.
Location
- "Locate me" uses your device's location to find your city for lunar days, moonrise and moonset. The coordinates are turned into a city name by your phone's operating system and are not sent to our server. The city you choose is stored on your device.
Purchases
- Subscriptions are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment card. RevenueCat receives the purchase record and an anonymous app user ID so the app knows your plan.

We do not sell your personal data. AI providers process your text only to generate the answer, under their API terms.
3. How long we keep it
- AI chat conversations on our server are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- The device account and usage counters stay until you ask us to delete them.
- Everything else (birth details, saved people, chart history, settings, photo) is stored on your device and removed when you use "Clear All Info" in the app or uninstall it.
4. Your choices and rights
- You can use most features without entering birth details. Location is optional.
- Turn notifications off at any time in your phone's settings.
- iPhone: decline tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt or in Settings → Privacy.
- To delete the data on our server (device account, chats and usage counters), email moonwise.ai.astrology@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data" and the device you use. We delete it within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you can also ask for access, correction or a copy of your data.
5. Security
All connections use HTTPS. Server access is restricted to us.
6. Children
MoonWise is not directed to children under 13 (under 16 in the EU), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Entertainment only
Astrology, tarot and AI answers are for entertainment and self-reflection. They are not medical, legal or financial advice.
8. Changes
We'll update the date above when this policy changes, and tell you in the app if the changes are significant. See also our Terms of Use.
